From here you play a vital part in our intelligence and resource-gathering efforts to keep our fleet functional as we journey amongst the stars. As a bonus, you will be in full command of your own squad of apostles, trained for a wide range of planetside operations, including deep space mining, constructing forward operating bases, and... EXTRA TERRESTRIAL CONTACT... among others.
The Apostle is one of our most highly trained space cadets, specialising in top secret missions on behalf of the U.N.F.M. They were created in response to growing concerns of various resistance movements accross the more culturally diverse quadrants of the march, and they helped root out all elements of insurgency accross our most holy fleet. Since then, our Apostles have been redesigned and re-equipped to tackle rapid fire planetary breaching missions for grab and collect or search and destroy directives. These missions are vital to all of our survival as the valuable resources brought home help keep us all alive, and the technology found has helped us advance considerably since our initial exile from earth.
As of now, the apostles have been re-deployed towards humanities most recent discovery. The Apochrypha's. Quantum Planets that never remain in place. A strange and alien discovery, the more you observe the planet, the more it changes form and tries to escape. These planets are highly dangerous and should be approached with caution. They are also very valuable however, several technological discoveries have been found deep below their surface, hidden away in ancient tombs. These include advancements to our main fleets engine cores, allowing us to travel ten times more Astronomical units per year! Wow! Isnt that something!
These planets are mysterious, and they bring into question what we truly know about our universe. From what our scientists have gathered they change their molecular structure based on the person observing it. Allowing the Apostles unique abilities when using navigational or combat equipment on the field that directly affects the planets surface. These abilities can be used to collapse the wave function of small pockets of terrain and observe a few aspects and shapes of the planets surface, bringing them into our dimension as a physical form. With ill intent, they can also destroy parts of the terrain, or speed up their degredation, providing unique combat strategies if used intelligently.
Be careful when relying on the terrain physicalised from your apostles observation as over time it will deteriorate, returning to the reality from whence it came and collapsing under your soldiers feet, a demise that has been compared to falling into a black hole.
Hunting these apochrypha and extracting their valuable resources is in the U.N.F.Ms best interest, and it is your responsibility to protect the interests of the U.N.F.M from its enemies, who would inevitably seek to bring harm to you and your friends and family if you were to fail. By any means necessary you must accomplish the tasks set before you in a timely manner, and to schedule, before the day is done, and ensure the interests of the U.N.F.M are protected at all costs. Remember, by any means necessary.

Your men are equipped with state-of-the-art health and wellbeing analysis suits, so you can keep an eye on any important or worrisome changes in our apostles demeanour that could affect their happy disposition.
